New Rider Information
Brand new to BMX?
Try First Time For FREE!!!
Want to try before you join? Yes Absolutely!
Come on out on any open track times or our race nights between 6-6:45pm or stick around until after the races and try then.
You will need:
- long sleeve shirt
- tear resistance long pants
- full face helmet
- full finger gloves
- sign a waiver form
If you don’t have some of those items, don’t worry we have some loaner gear and bikes we can lend you to get you on the track for your first time.
New Riders:
ALL RIDERS MUST HAVE A LICENSE & CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Our season starts in the spring as soon as the track is dry and runs until the end of September!
Be sure to join Red Deer BMX Community Group on Facebook for up to date happenings and for all track openings.
Full membership gives you access to Red Deer BMX training, open track sessions, races at all 10 Alberta BMX tracks (if you want to travel!), access to the provincial series and Nationals.
The track is open for races every Tuesday and Thursday. Grounds open at 6pm on race nights.

Riders must have their own full faced helmet, jersey, tear resistant pants, moto gloves & BMX race bike

BMX is an individual sport, commitment is up to you!
Race Nights
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Racing starts at 7pm
Open track from 6-7pm
Our race night run every Tuesday and Thursday evening from May-September (weather permitting)
Club Training
2 Days per Week
Scheduled by Age & Class
Mondays – Novice/Beginner
Wednesdays – Int/Expert subject to change.

BMX CAMPS
Are an additional cost per rider due at the time of event registration.
Camps will be posted as they are scheduled.
